The 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship is getting ready for the fourteenth round of the 2024 season on the tough sand track of Lommel for the MXGP of Flanders on the 27th and 28th of July.
For the first time in a while, there are four British riders set to be behind the MXGP start gate, with Josh Gilbert, Bobby Bruce & Conrad Mewse all in the lineup. With Bobby Bruce moving up to the 450, that leaves no British riders in MX2, though.
The EMX Open class sees Chris Mills, who has been back riding in the UK this year, on the entry list, and with loads of sand experience, it will be interesting to see how he gets on. He is joined by the Chambers Racing trio of Dan Thornhill, Ben Franklin and Glenn McCormick, Lexa MX’s John Adamson, Jason Meara and Marcus Lee-Soper.
In EMX250 Joel Rizzi, Ollie Colmer, Joe Brookes, Drew Stock and Harvey Cashmore will be doing battle in the deep Lommel sand.
