Further to the publication of the provisional calendar for 2024, WSC is pleased to announce firm confirmation of all dates for the 2024 FIM Sidecarcross World Championship except the round scheduled for August 31/September 1, marked as “TBA”. A working agreement could not be reached in this respect, so the date is now removed from the list.

Despite that, a truly meaningful ten-round title fight provides twenty Grand Prix races spread over six months on some of the best and most challenging tracks in Europe.
APO Multimedia, the organising and promoting company behind the WSC brand, is delighted to announce a further five-year extension of their contract with the FIM, having come through one of the most difficult periods for global sport in recent years.
Also confirmed are the five rounds within the calendar allocated to the EMX Quad Championship, as well as the traditional Sidecar and Quadcross of Nations event at the very end of September in Loket, Czech Republic.
The CEO of APO Multimedia Martin Bena is very positive about the future of the sport, and his plans to take the series forward.
“It has been a tough five years, having battled with the global pandemic and the immense challenges carrying over from that. But we made it, and now with advances in broadcast technology, we will be offering full live-stream coverage over every race weekend. The future is bright, and we at WSC are all very excited.”
“Our company has acted as a media partner since 2017 when we helped the organizers with the promotion and provided live-streaming at the Sidecarcross and Quadcross of Nations. All the while, we find this event to be unique due to the combination of quads and sidecars. The participation of foreign teams from the USA and Argentina in quads is unique. After several years of cooperation, we are happy that FIM Europe has agreed with FIM that this event will be leveled up to a World Championship in both disciplines, as well as at the European Championship level. This is a great progress that we are very happy about. Based on this, we have agreed on a promoter contract for the next five years and I firmly believe that this collaboration is a further step to the cooperation we have already started and that this exceptional event will gain the unique benefits we bring as promoter.”
The live stream details are already published and will be heavily promoted ahead of each round, with full-season subscription or weekend pass options available on https://page.inplayer.com/fimsidecarcross/
The calendar has variety, sensible scheduling, and promise of a great season before it winds up in Italy for the finale.
