2024 Favourite: Scottish BW85 Champion Jaden Anderson moves up to a 125!

Jaden Anderson might not be a name familiar to everyone south of the border just yet, but the youngster from Alford in Aberdeenshire is just the latest of a new crop of young up and coming Scottish talent who seem destined for great things.

Jaden was handed the gold plate and crowned 2023 BW85cc Scottish Motocross Champion at the final round of last year at Clayshant in Dumfriesshire. We recently caught up with Jaden to quiz him about the news that he will be moving up a class for 2024 and also ask him what some of his favourite things about Motocross are.

Thoughts on moving up –
“I wasn’t sure whether to stay on 85BW for another year or move up to the 125, but my Dad bought a YZ 125. Even though I’m a little small for it as I’ve just turned 13, I decided that I would move up anyway. With (suspension specialist) Jamie Black’s help sorting the suspension out the bike just fits me better.”

Goals for this year –
“I’ve just got to work hard and use this year to learn & have fun!”
