2024 Apico 2 Stroke Festival dates announced

The team behind the ACU Apico 2-Stroke Festival featuring Red Bull Pro Stroke National has released the dates for the 2024 edition of its popular weekend-long event.

Having carefully considered the other major British Motocross event dates, and taking into account the date for the FIM World Junior MX Championship, the 2-Stroke Festival promoter Dave Willet has selected the weekend of the 17th and 18th of August 2024, with an option to also run on Friday the 16th.

The Festival returns to its home turf at Sellindge MX in Kent, and will cater for professional, clubman, youth and novice riders, with some new, action-packed features in the mix. As in previous years, while ACU-endorsed British titles will be up for grabs, the focus of the weekend will be on fun!

“We’re excited to be in a position to confirm our dates and the fact we’re back at Sellindge,” said Willet. “As most people know, I have been instrumental in driving forward a youth training programme that saw us take 13 talented youth riders out to Romania, where they did themselves and their country proud. This programme is important both to me personally and to the future of British MX. For this reason, the Festival couldn’t clash with the 2024 World Juniors. We’ve also studied the dates of the other major British motocross events, and we are pleased to confirm that we do not clash.

We have an option to run on the Friday, and we would like to dedicate that day to youth and novice riders. We’re working on the logistics and hope to be in a position to announce further plans in the new year.  Roll on August 2024!”
