Although still displaying its usual professional, immaculate appearance, the structure and make-up of the 2023 LRT Racing team will be different.

For the coming season, LRT will have just four riders, Tommy Alba, Liam Gale, Tyler Lane and team owner Simon Lane. Also joining them on a rider advisory role will former AMCA Champion Keith Ree.
Both Alba and Gale will be competing on two-stroke 250cc Yamaha machinery with LRT hopeful that both lads could well be pushing for those podium places in the MX2 AMCA British Motocross Championship series. In 2022, Tommy Alba finished in a fantastic runner-up position in the MX2 class aboard a 10 year-old KTM whilst Liam Gale was 6th in the 125cc class.
After competing in his maiden season as a motocross racer, Tyler Lane, the son of boss Simon will be moving up from the AMCA 85cc Youth Championship to compete in the 2023 AMCA Youth 125cc series. Despite being the team manager, Simon Lane will also be spinning the wheels again and with Keith Ree looking after the team riders, he certainly intends to mix it at the front end of the AMCA Veterans Championship after finishing 5th overall in 2022.
LRT would like to say a massive thank-you to the following for their fantastic support as they go in search of 2023 race glory, HCR Yamaha Racing UK, Rock Oil, Muscle Doctor, 2W Distributio ofn, Ci Sport, EKS Goggles, ESP, Motoverde, Ledbury Plant Hire, FXR, 6D Helmets, Alpinestar, Simoto, TWS, Holab, RFS and AJP.
