2023 British Masters Grasstrack will not be restaged!

Following the unfortunate cancellation of the 2023 British Masters Grasstrack meeting, the ACU Track Racing Committee have been looking at opportunities with a view to restaging the competition, Unfortunately, it has not been possible to find an appropriate, practical and fair option. Regrettably therefore, it has forced the decision that the 2023 Master’s Championship will not now take place.

Whilst this is far from ideal, the organising Club, 500cc Sidecar Association, and the Track Racing Committee have agreed that each who participated in the original meeting will be receiving a payment as a contribution towards the costs of competing. This will comprise of a basis payment to all riders with the addition of a further payment based upon the number of points scored during the first two rounds of the competition. Whilst it remains a far from ideal conclusion in terms of the competition result it does represent a fair distribution of the prize money.

The ACU Track Racing Committee will now be working with ACU clubs and planning towards the 2024 event.
