2023 AMCA British Motocross Championship – Schedule & Series info – Updated 26th January
The schedule, venues, classes & format for the 2023 AMCA British Motocross Championship have been released, with seven rounds on the calendar.

The 2023 AMCA British Motocross Championship calendar is as follows:
Round 1 – 8th & 9th April @ Fatcat Motoparc
Round 2 – 29th & 30th April @ Brookthorpe
Round 3 – 11th June @ Warmingham Lane
Round 4 – 2nd July @ Hawkstone Park
Round 5 – 30th July @ Venue TBC
Round 6 – 19th & 20th August @ Lower Drayton (amended from May due to IMBA date clash)
Round 7 – 10th September @ Bromsberrow
Reserve date – 24th September
Classes
85 Championship
– 85cc 2 Stroke and 150cc 4 Strokes only
– BWMA Girls Championship will be run within the 85 Championship
Vets Championship
– Minimum of 40 years old before you race, Junior, Senior & Expert riders only
-Vets 50, riders to be allocated into this class based on their age, trophies awarded on the day, to register for this class all you need to do is register for the Vets and those who are Over 50 when riding will also score in this class
125 Championship
– 125 only, no 150’s will be allowed.
– Seniors & Experts only
– Minimum age of 13 years old
MX2 Championship
– Expert riders only
– Riders can compete on 250cc 2-Stroke’s
Open Championship
– Expert riders only
– Riders can compete on any capacity machine
250CC 2 Stroke Championship
– Ran within the Open Championship
– Expert riders only
BWMA Women’s Championship
– Women’s Championship, top 10 after 3 rounds form the Elite class, the remainder will go into Womens Nationals class (BWMA Womens Race).
125 Youth Championship
– Minimum Age 13 years old
– Maximum Age 17 Years old on 1st January 2023
– Juniors and Seniors only
-125cc 2 Stroke only, no 150’s allowed.
-Ran within the BWMA Women’s Championship
Registration
Registration is £100 for all classes, registrations are open now, the automatics from the 2022 season will have a space guaranteed until the 21st October. There will be no qualifiers in 2023, the class will close for registration when full. You can register via >> https://portal.amca.uk.com/login
Format
2 Dayers
The 2 day Championship meeting will consist of 2 races on the Saturday and 2 races on the Sunday, the overall winner for that round will be over the entire weekend (4 races).
Single day
85, 125, Vets, MX2, Open, BWMA Womens, 3 races.
