Last Saturday evening Grasstrack Banter Promotions hosted on behalf of the ACU The 2022 British Youth Grasstrack and Speedway Awards evening at the Railway Institute, Eastleigh.

The event was well attended by 120 guests and the award winners were handed some amazing trophies by British Speedway and Grasstrack legend Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris.

The evening was excellently presented by Gareth Bemister who paid tribute to all of the riders and their parents for their dedication and success. Gareth also paid tribute to Rachel Cox and the team at Helsby who have been instrumental in getting the E Bike class recognised as a Championship class and the club were delighted to award the trophies to the inaugural winners.

Riders and their family, Sponsors, Club Members, Officials and friends of the club travelled far and wide to celebrate the success of all our new British Youth champions and the night was wrapped up with some special awards presented by the club in recognition of the achievements of some of of its members during the 2022 season.

The club would like to place on record their appreciation to everyone who supported the event and made it possible. A good night was had by all and the evening provided a great warm up for the 2023 season.
